Position: Sales Engineer – Fire & Life Safety (Service & Fit-Out)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sales Engineer – Service & Maintenance to join our team in Dubai. This role is pivotal in driving our growth across the Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Hospitality and Infrastructure sectors within the UAE. You will be part of our dynamic Service and Maintenance Sales team, focused on expanding our market presence and customer base in line with our ambitious business objectives.

Your primary responsibility will be to promote and secure Annual Maintenance Contracts, Installation Solutions, and System Upgrades for Fire & Life Safety Systems. You will also play a key role in developing new business relationships with Facility Management Companies, Real Estate Developers, MEP Contractors, Consultants, and End Users. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing organization within a supportive and performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in Fire & Life Safety Systems and Services.
  • Prepare and deliver competitive, high-quality proposals, and participate in tendering and bidding processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical and sales teams to meet client requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Estimate manpower and resources required for annual maintenance contracts and modification projects.
  • Prepare and issue quotations in coordination with the estimation team.
  • Support the Sales & Business Development Manager with assigned objectives and departmental coordination.
  • Stay informed on competitor offerings, market trends, and customer needs to effectively position Spectrum International LLC in the UAE market.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 5–8 years of experience in sales of Maintenance & Service Contracts for Fire Protection and Detection Systems within the UAE market.
  • Proven success in dealing with FM companies, end users, and general contractors handling Fire Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Civil Defense regulations and basic NFPA standards.
  • Demonstrated track record in achieving sales targets within the Fire & Life Safety sector.
  • Proficiency in Fire Protection and Detection products i.e Firefighting Equipment, Fire Alarm Systems, Central Battery Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Pumps, Fire Suppression Systems, and VESDA systems.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly customer-focused, self-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Valid UAE driving license required.
