Job Title: Sales Engineer – Home Automation

Location: Qatar

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer – Home Automation to promote, sell, and support smart home and automation solutions across residential and commercial projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with sales expertise to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in home automation and smart building solutions
  • Promote products such as lighting control, HVAC control, audio-video, security, CCTV, access control, and BMS integration
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals

Technical & Pre-Sales Support

  • Study project drawings, specifications, and BOQs
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to propose suitable solutions
  • Conduct site surveys and client demonstrations
  • Provide value engineering options when required

Client & Consultant Coordination

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and developers
  • Attend meetings, presentations, and project discussions
  • Follow up on leads, negotiations, and contract closures

Post-Sales Coordination

  • Coordinate with project and commissioning teams for smooth execution
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and handle basic technical clarifications
  • Support collections and documentation as required

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Automation Engineering
  • 3–7 years of experience in home automation or ELV systems sales
  • Strong knowledge of smart home systems (KNX, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, etc.)
  • Experience in Qatar market is preferred
  • Valid Qatar Driving License (Mandatory)
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
