The client is looking to hire a Sales Engineer – HVAC Energy Efficiency Solutions for their team at Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
Prerequisites :
- More than seven (7) years in technical sales roles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales principles and practices.
- Experienced in developing and implementing sales strategies.
Role :
The Sales Engineer – HVAC Energy Efficiency Solutions is responsible for promoting and selling energy-efficient HVAC solutions, ensuring product inclusion in project designs, and engaging with consultants, facility managers, developers, and contractors to drive business growth.
Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy :
- Identify and pursue business opportunities in the HVAC energy efficiency sector.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote HVAC energy solutions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales approaches.
- Ensure product inclusion in large-scale commercial and industrial projects by working closely with engineering consultants.
Customer Relations :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with facility owners and developers.
- Conduct customer site visits, provide pre-sales support, and offer energy optimization recommendations.
- Address customer inquiries, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to educate stakeholders.
Project Management :
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design, operations, and procurement, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track project timelines, follow up on bids, and coordinate deliveries with the execution team.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and assist clients in selecting appropriate energy-efficient solutions.
Sales Operations :
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tenders in alignment with company policies.
- Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and update CRM tools with lead status.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and competitor analysis.
- Track customer feedback and market trends to refine sales strategies.
Collaboration :
- Work closely with engineering and marketing teams to develop customized sales pitches and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with the project execution team to ensure smooth handover and implementation of sold solutions.
Continuous Improvement :
- Keep up-to-date with HVAC energy efficiency advancements and emerging market trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency in sales and customer service.
- Participate in relevant industry events, conferences, and training programs to enhance product knowledge and industry expertise.
