Sales Engineer – HVAC / MEP

Budget: 10-13K AED + Commission





Job Brief

We are looking for a highly driven and technically strong Sales Engineer to grow our HVAC/MEP product business in the UAE market.

This is a pure product sales role, focused on direct selling to MEP contractors, consultants, and distributors, not just tender or project coordination.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who actively generates business through daily client meetings, site visits, and strong market relationships, and who has a genuine interest in learning technical products.




Key Responsibilities



Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in the HVAC/MEP market
  • Drive direct product sales to MEP contractors, consultants, and distributors
  • Conduct minimum 35 client meetings per day (site visits, contractor meetings, follow-ups)
  • Generate leads through cold calls, site visits, networking, and market mapping (not only inbound enquiries)
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop strong one-to-one relationships with MEP contractors and consultants
  • Position products at early stages of project lifecycle (design / selection stage)
  • Ensure repeat business through strong account management and follow-ups

Technical Sales & Product Expertise

  • Understand and promote technically advanced HVAC/MEP products (e.g., pumps, valves, heat exchangers, chillers, etc.)
  • Provide technical guidance, product selection, and solutions to clients
  • Continuously learn and upgrade product knowledge to handle complex customer requirements
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations

Commercial & Negotiation

  • Handle price negotiations and payment terms independently
  • Ensure profitable deals while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Follow through from lead generation to order closure and payment collection

Planning, Discipline & CRM

  • Plan weekly sales activities in advance (not same-day reactive planning)
  • Maintain daily tracking of:
  • Client meetings
  • Follow-ups
  • Sales pipeline
  • Use CRM tools to update meeting notes, opportunities, and progress regularly
  • Respond promptly to client and internal queries

Work Ethic & Team Contribution

  • Be a self-driven performer who does not require constant supervision
  • Demonstrate high ownership, discipline, and punctuality
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams while maintaining individual targets


Experience

  • 512 years of experience in HVAC/MEP product sales
  • Strong experience in direct sales to contractors (mandatory)
  • GCC/UAE market experience preferred

Product Experience (Important)

  • Must have sold technical HVAC/MEP products such as:
  • Pumps
  • Valves
  • Heat exchangers
  • Chillers / cooling systems
  • HVAC equipment

Candidates with experience only in low-technical products (e.g., insulation, cladding, basic materials) are not preferred

  • Strong technical understanding and willingness to learn

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
