We are looking for a driven and technically skilled Sales Engineer with hands‑on experience in LV Switchgear and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of industry experience, strong technical understanding, and a passion for building customer relationships and driving business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in the LV Switchgear and VFD market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, consultants, and distributors.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, negotiate contracts, and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop tailored technical and commercial proposals.
Technical Support
- Provide customers with expert guidance on product selection, specifications, and applications.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Offer pre‑sales and post‑sales support, including troubleshooting, commissioning assistance, and handling warranty‑related queries.
Market Analysis & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Support the development of marketing strategies, promotional plans, and product positioning.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong, long‑term relationships through regular communication and site visits.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (additional sales or business qualifications are an advantage).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales within the electrical industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of LV Switchgear, VFDs, and related industry standards.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage customer accounts effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events.
