Key Responsibilities
- Identify, generate, and qualify new leads through field visits, referrals, calls, and digital channels.
- Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable solar PV systems (on-grid/off-grid/hybrid).
- Conduct site assessments (shading, load analysis, rooftop feasibility).
- Prepare and present technical & commercial proposals.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiations, and closure of deals.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and installation teams for smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, pipeline, and customer communications.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Educate customers on subsidy policies, government incentives, and savings calculations.
- Provide exceptional post-sale coordination and customer service.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 1–3 years of sales experience (solar/renewable energy preferred).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them simply to customers.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with field sales.
- Basic knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, panels, and installation processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, or sales software.
