Sales Engineer – Textile Machinery (Knitting/Printing)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to drive sales of textile knitting and/or printing machinery. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with proven sales acumen to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and deliver tailored solutions that enhance customer productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in assigned regions across Pakistan.
• Identify and engage potential customers in textile manufacturing, knitting, and printing sectors.
• Provide technical consultation, product demonstrations, and application support to clients.
• Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure smooth installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to customer needs.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while expanding market share through new accounts.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategy.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products and brand visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Textile Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in sales of industrial machinery, preferably textile knitting or printing equipment.
• Strong technical understanding of textile production processes and machinery operation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate technical features into business benefits for clients.
• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience with European or Asian/Chinese textile machinery brands.
• Established network within textile mills, garment manufacturers, or printing houses.
• Multilingual skills (English plus regional languages) for effective client engagement.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to diverse business environments.
