Sales Estimator - Metal/Steel

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects related to metal works, fencing, and construction. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and client requirements
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and quotations
• Conduct quantity take-offs and material calculations
• Coordinate with sales, design, and project teams
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare tender documents and support bid submissions
• Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and client requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an Estimator (preferably in metal works, fencing, or Steel)
• Strong knowledge of materials, pricing, and market rates in Qatar
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in fencing, steel, or fabrication industry
• Experience in tendering and contract documentation
