Why Anchor Loans?

Anchor Loans is one of several operating companies owned by Pretium Partners (+$60B AUM Financial Services Entity) and is working diligently to expand and grow its lending footprint.

Anchor Loans, established in 1998, is the nation’s leading private, direct lender to experienced residential real estate investors and builders, and the first to surpass $10 billion in total fundings. Renowned for expediting financing for developers and investors, we specialize in bridge loans, ground-up construction, and single-family rental solutions for non-owner-occupied projects. Headquartered in beautiful Thousand Oaks, California, Anchor Loans currently lends in 48 states and is expanding into new markets and service lines to better serve our current and future borrowers.

Overview

We’re hiring a high output, execution-first leader to quarterback the build and scale of five programs: Broker, White Label, Table Funding, Correspondent Lending, and Lender Finance. This role sits within the Sales Line of Business and is the connective tissue from vision to launch to scale. You’ll orchestrate cross functional workstreams, enforce accountability, and keep momentum high so each program is built to spec, on time, and ready to scale.

Our lending focus: Residential Transitional Loans (RTL) and Middle Market loans including ground-up construction, fix and flip, renovation, and bridge loans.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Build Execution

  • Lead the tactical buildout across Broker, White Label, Table Funding, Correspondent, and Lender Finance; turn business strategy into detailed actions, deadlines, and owned deliverables.

  • Own the operating rhythm: agendas, decision logs, RAID (risks/assumptions/issues/dependencies), and follow through until closure.

  • Cross‑Functional Drive

  • Rally legal, compliance, credit, risk, funding, ops, finance, marketing, and tech to deliver on clearly defined business requirements (BRDs), milestones, and SLAs.

  • Coordinate external partners (brokers, lenders, correspondents, table funding partners, warehouse providers) for readiness and alignment.

  • Sales Channel Integration

  • Partner with Sales Channel Leaders in Non‑QM & Residential and Debt & Equity / Boutique Private to ensure program compatibility and scalable enablement (eligibility, pricing, process, and exceptions).

  • Quality, Speed, and Control

  • Ensure documentation is precise and audit‑ready (process maps, SOPs, checklists, and RACIs) while biasing toward speed and clean handoffs.

Who You Are

  • Sales‑minded operator with a bias for execution and accountability.

  • Proven in sales program management / enablement in lending or structured finance.

  • Skilled at navigating matrixed orgs and aligning diverse stakeholders.

  • Thrives running multiple workstreams in parallel and keeping the train on time.

Impact

You are the engine behind program execution. You will ensure the business is built correctly, controlled appropriately, and ready to scale—with nothing lost in translation between strategy and sell through.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in lending, structured finance, or financial services, with direct ownership of program management, sales enablement, or go-to-market execution.

  • Demonstrated success building and scaling lending programs such as Broker, White Label, Correspondent, Table Funding, or Lender Finance.

  • Strong understanding of Residential Transitional Lending (RTL), including ground-up construction, fix-and-flip, renovation, and bridge loan products.

  • Proven ability to translate strategy into detailed business requirements, workflows, and controlled operational frameworks.
