Sales Executive

India

You’ll be the face of the store — greeting customers, understanding their needs, guiding them to the right pieces, and closing sales while maintaining an attractive showroom. This role blends product knowledge, consultative selling, and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome customers, ask discovery questions, and offer personalized recommendations.
  • Demonstrate product features, materials, finishes, and care instructions.
  • Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets .
  • Upsell and cross-sell accessories, cushions , paintings etc.
  • Maintain attractive product displays and assist with visual merchandising.
  • Manage sales transactions, prepare invoices, and coordinate deliveries with logistics.
  • Follow up with leads and past customers via phone, email, or messaging to drive repeat sales.
  • Keep accurate customer and sales records .
  • Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally; escalate when needed.
  • Participate in store meetings, stock takes, and promotional events.

Required skills & experience

  • 1–3 years retail sales experience — furniture preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable talking to diverse customers.
  • Basic numeric skills for handling pricing, discounts, and invoicing.
  • Able to work retail hours, including weekends .
  • Proactive, driven, and target-oriented.
  • Neat, professional appearance and a friendly attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,565.02 - ₹37,395.40 per month
