Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand business in sea and air freight forwarding services.
- Conduct active cold calls, follow-ups, and client meetings to identify potential customers and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
- Build and maintain a strong client network through regular communication, relationship management, and professional engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including calls, meetings, proposals, and follow-ups using CRM tools.
- Understand clients’ logistics needs and recommend suitable freight forwarding solutions to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate closely with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and smooth handling of shipments.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and company service profiles to prospective clients professionally.
- Meet assigned sales targets, monitor performance, and consistently work towards achieving revenue and business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities in the freight forwarding industry.
- Participate in business events, networking forums, and industry exhibitions to promote business development.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sales or business development within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong existing network and relationships in the shipping and logistics market.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, especially over calls and client meetings.
- Strong ability to build rapport, maintain relationships, and work independently as well as within a team.
