Job Purpose
The Sales Executive is responsible for increasing sales revenue with a key focus on the oil and gas sector, and maximizing rental fleet utilization through a proactive sales approach. The role involves building the client base by acquiring new customers and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
Key Relationships
- Internal: Managing Director, Assistant Sales Manager, Company staff
- External: Clients, Suppliers, Government Authority
Accountabilities
- Continuously gather information on new oil and gas projects and contractors, keeping management informed while maintaining regular contact to explore new opportunities.
- Negotiate and close sales based on the Client’s terms and conditions, and follow up with customers on receivables.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients who may benefit from the Company’s services; develop a structured sales plan for the assigned territory.
- Ensure sales volume and budget forecasts are achieved in alignment with Company goals and policies.
- Collect market intelligence on various annual projects and prepare sales budgets based on market forecasts.
- Establish new and maintain existing client relationships within assigned regions.
- Conduct regular visits to potential clients to secure sales deals.
- Accurately understand and interpret client requirements and ensure full customer satisfaction.
- Prepare client quotations; negotiate tender and contract terms.
- Gain complete understanding of the technical capabilities of the Company’s equipment portfolio by coordinating with the Service Department.
- Provide pre-sales technical support through site surveys and recommending suitable solutions to clients.
- Arrange timely delivery of equipment to customer locations once orders are received; coordinate with the Operations Department and ensure client purchase orders are released.
- Liaise with the technical team and other sales team members on related matters.
- Provide accurate and regular updates to the reporting manager on project status.
- Prepare weekly sales plans aligned with short-, medium-, and long-term business objectives.
- Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and clients through clear, effective communication and by fostering a healthy work environment.
- Administer client accounts and coordinate sales projects.
- Resolve client concerns and follow up on quality-related issues.
- Meet regular sales targets; analyze costs and sales performance; record and maintain client contact data.
- Communicate relevant information within the team to ensure profitable rental fleet utilization.
- Conduct regular progress reviews with the assigned Sales Administrator to maintain a proactive sales approach.
- Perform any additional tasks or duties assigned based on business requirements.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Mechanical Engineering
- Valid Qatar driving license (essential)
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the GCC Rental / Sales market
