Role: Sales Coordinator – Robotics Industry (Japanese Language)

Experience-1+ year

Ctc- upto 4-4.5 lpa (Depends on interview)

Working Days- 5 Days

Job Summary

The Sales Coordinator will support sales and business development activities within the robotics and automation sector, acting as a key liaison between Japanese clients/partners, internal sales teams, and technical departments. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and business-level proficiency in the Japanese language.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day sales operations, including quotations, purchase orders, invoicing, and delivery tracking
  • Serve as a communication bridge between Japanese clients, distributors, and internal teams
  • Handle Japanese-language correspondence, including emails, documents, and meeting follow-ups
  • Support sales engineers with product information, technical documentation, and proposals
  • Maintain and update CRM/ERP systems, ensuring accuracy of sales data
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management
  • Coordinate product demos, factory visits, client meetings, and exhibitions
  • Assist with contract coordination, compliance, and documentation aligned with Japanese business standards
  • Follow up on customer inquiries, lead times, and after-sales coordination

Language & Communication Requirements

  • Japanese language proficiency
  • Ability to read and understand technical and commercial documents in Japanese
  • Confident communication with Japanese stakeholders in a professional business setting
  • Understanding of Japanese business etiquette and work culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in sales coordination, sales support, or international sales
  • Experience in robotics, automation, industrial machinery, or electronics preferred
  • Familiarity with Japanese companies or Japan-focused business operations is an advantage

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with CRM/ERP systems
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic understanding of robotics or automation products (training can be provided)
