Job Purpose:
To generate new business and manage existing customers by promoting flexible packaging products, achieving sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective coordination and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new customers in the flexible packaging market (, laminates, printed pouches, roll stock, etc.).
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- Prepare and send quotations, costings, and compliance documents as per customer requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with customers, with approval from management.
- Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure timely order execution and delivery.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, samples, trial orders, and payments.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Ensure accurate sales records, forecasts, and periodic reports are maintained.
- Participate in client meetings, plant visits, and trade-related activities as required.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of flexible packaging materials and processes.
- Customer-focused approach with problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–8 years of sales experience in the flexible packaging or printing industry.
- Knowledge of BOPP, PET, PE films, lamination, printing, and pouching is an advantage.
- Valid driving license (if field sales role).
