Job Purpose:
To drive sales growth by promoting and selling steel, steel alloys, aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and mold accessories to clients within the assigned area. The Sales Executive will be responsible for cash and credit sales, client quotation management, forecasting customer needs, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding credit achieve sales targets agreed with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation:
- Actively sell the company’s range of steel products, aluminum alloys, stainless steel, mold accessories, and related materials.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Complete sales route visits and report on results and customer requirements
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
- Client Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client needs, propose appropriate solutions, and negotiate to close deals.
- Quotation and Negotiation:
- Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations based on client requirements and company policies.
- Follow up on quotations to convert them into confirmed orders.
- Credit Sales and Collections:
- Conduct sales both on cash and credit terms as per company policies.
- Monitor client credit limits and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collection.
- Market Intelligence and Forecasting:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Forecast future client requirements and provide timely reports to the General manager.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain proper records of sales activities, quotations, orders, and collections.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, outstanding accounts, and client interactions.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably in the steel, metal, industrial materials, or construction sectors in the Saudi Arabian market.
- Proven experience in B2B selling, credit management, and client relationship handling.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to forecast customer requirements and plan accordingly.
- Knowledge of sales procedures, quotation preparation, and credit terms.
- Basic financial understanding to handle collections and account follow-ups.
- Other:
- Valid Saudi driving license.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
