1. Always search for new clients. A clear view of the company’s services must be presented and provided to the customers. This should be done by:

  • Preparing and delivering appropriate and attractive presentations on services.

· Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.

  • Seeking out actively new sales opportunities through calling, networking, and social media.
  • Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns.
  • Keeping in contact with existing customers by fulfilling customers’ queries over the phone and maintaining email to follow-up contacts and sales.
  • Maintaining a professional relationship with every customer.
  • Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service.

2. Must meet a target number of sales of a company’s services within a period; aiming to achieve monthly.

3. Prepare and then follow up on any sales quotations made for clients, negotiating terms with clients at a cost best suited for them. Negotiate contracts and packages with clients.

4. Negotiate/ close deals and handle complaints or objections.

5. Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.

6. Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.

7. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

8. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, services, new services, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

9. Be conscious and alert about competitors and the services they are offering. Recommend changes in services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

10. Keep up with industry trends.

11. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; and making recommendations to management.

12. Produce a report on progress within the department and outline any developed strategies to improve.

13. Must be flexible in traveling to any other country to search for new customers as per the work required.

14. Must be flexible and able to accept work between Safeway departments or branches as per work required.

15. Accept other jobs requested by the management.

This position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a 3-month probationary period during which time your performance will be reviewed. Upon completion of the 3-month probationary period with excellent work performance, a permanent position will be offered. However, if the performance does not satisfy the management, it will be subject to termination.
