As a
Sales Executive
, you will be the frontline ambassador for our trucking services, responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless operations. This role combines sales acumen with operational coordination, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities

Secure Sales and Generate Leads:
Identify and prospect potential clients through cold calling, networking, and digital outreach. Develop and present tailored trucking solutions to meet client needs, closing deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Source Trucks for Loading:
Coordinate with internal operations teams to source available trucks, trailers, and drivers for client shipments. Ensure efficient matching of loads with capacity, optimizing routes and timelines to maximize profitability.

Maintain Customer Relationships:
Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients through regular check-ins, personalized service, and proactive problem-solving. Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and feedback.

Follow Up for Payments:
Monitor invoicing and payment schedules, following up with clients on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections. Resolve any billing disputes in collaboration with the finance team.

Market Analysis and Reporting:
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands in trucking and logistics. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.

Collaborate Across Teams:
Work closely with dispatch, operations, and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts, regulatory adherence, and high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills

Experience:
5+ years in sales, preferably in trucking / land transportation. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.

Knowledge of trucking regulations, load sourcing, and supply chain basics.
