Sales Executive

Job Purpose / Basic Function:

The main purpose of this position is to manage and is responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and securing projects in road construction, infrastructure, and utilities sectors. The role involves identifying leads, preparing proposals, coordinating with technical teams, and achieving sales targets.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in road works, infrastructure, and utility projects

· Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors

· Explore tender opportunities (government & private sector)

· Generate leads through market research and networking

· Meet potential clients and present company services

· Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tenders

· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms

· Follow up on inquiries and close sales deals

· Maintain strong client relationships for repeat business

· Coordinate with estimation and technical teams for bid preparation

· Review tender documents, BOQs, and specifications

· Ensure timely submission of bids and proposals

· Assist in prequalification and vendor registration processes

· Monitor market trends, competitors, and project pipelines

· Identify upcoming infrastructure and utility projects

· Maintain database of clients, consultants, and ongoing tenders

· Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports

· Track sales targets and achievements

· Update CRM / sales tracking system

Report pipeline status to management

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

· 2–4 years of experience in sales/business development within construction, infrastructure, or utilities sector.

· Strong knowledge of road construction, utilities, and infrastructure projects.

· Valid GCC driving license (preferred)

· Experience with government projects (Ashghal, municipalities, etc.Highly considerable)

· Existing client network in infrastructure sector.

· Bilingual with Arabic & English
