We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our freight forwarding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and promoting air freight, sea freight, land transportation, customs clearance, and logistics solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong sales skills and experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers for freight forwarding and logistics services.
- Generate sales leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Prepare competitive quotations and proposals based on customer requirements.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with customers.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions.
- Follow up on quotations, inquiries, and customer feedback to maximize conversion rates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or transportation sales.
- Strong understanding of air freight, ocean freight, customs clearance, and supply chain solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network of import/export customers.
- Knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms) and shipping documentation.
- Experience working with freight forwarding companies or logistics providers.
