Role Overview

The Sales Executive / Area Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling Shubhanga Publications’ textbooks and academic products in the assigned districts. This role involves relationship-building with schools, distributors, book sellers, and academic decision-makers, ensuring strong product visibility and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the full range of Shubhanga Publications’ academic products.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
  • Visit schools, colleges, book sellers, and distributors to generate orders.
  • Develop strong relationships with principals, teachers, and purchasing committees.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and academic promotions in institutions.
  • Identify and appoint new distributors/stockists to expand market reach.
  • Track competitor activities, curriculum changes, and academic trends.
  • Ensure timely supply, follow-ups, and payment collection from distributors/retail partners.
  • Maintain daily visit reports, sales data, and market feedback.
  • Support academic events, exhibitions, workshops, and promotional campaigns.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
