Sales Executive – FMCG

Job Purpose:

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients in the FMCG sector. The role involves achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned targets in the FMCG sector.

· Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into sales.

· Maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key clients.

· Conduct regular market visits to ensure product visibility and availability.

· Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback for strategy improvement.

· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with customers.

· Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.

· Collaborate with the marketing team for promotions, product launches, and campaigns.

· Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.

· Maintain updated knowledge of FMCG products, trends, and consumer behavior.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

· 2–4 years of proven sales experience in FMCG.

· Strong understanding of local market dynamics and FMCG distribution channels.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Target-driven with strong business development skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a team.

· Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
