Job Summary:

We are a leading provider of Diesel power generators, offering a wide range of products to meet the energy needs of commercial, industrial, and residential clients. Our showroom showcases the latest and most reliable generator models from top brands, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team and help us drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for diesel generator products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients across various industries.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective prospecting and relationship management.
  • Research and analyze industry trends to guide growth strategies
  • Develop relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Pitch the company’s products/services to potential clients
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with prospective clients

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring satisfaction at all stages of the sales process.
  • Address customer questions and concerns with professionalism and clarity.
  • Assist customers in financing and warranty options, guiding them through the purchase process.
  • Maintain a positive rapport with existing clients and ensure post-sale support and service.

Market and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, technology, and developments in the power generation industry.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the various models of generators, their specifications, features, and use cases.
  • Stay informed about competitors’ offerings to better position the showroom’s products.

Administrative and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory status.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecast demand, and share insights with the sales manager.
  • Manage showroom stock levels and ensure product displays are neat and well-organized.
  • Assist in inventory management, ensuring that the showroom has a continuous supply of popular and in-demand products.

Promotions and Events:

  • Assist in organizing promotional events, demonstrations, and customer workshops to promote products and generate leads.
  • Help drive showroom traffic through local advertising, social media outreach, and event promotions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within the power generation, electrical, or industrial sectors.
  • Prior experience in a showroom or retail sales environment is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Ability to quickly learn about complex technical products.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CRM software.
  • Goal-oriented and highly motivated with a passion for sales and customer service.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a focus on achieving results.
  • Ability to handle objections and close sales confidently.
  • Self-driven, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
