Job Title: Sales Executive – Import/Export (Agri Products)

Experience Required: 2–4 Years (can adjust)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive with hands-on experience in import–export of agricultural products such as fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, pulses, grains, and processed agri items. The role involves managing international buyers/suppliers, generating sales, preparing documentation, and coordinating end-to-end export operations.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and onboard new international buyers and suppliers.
  • Generate leads through market research, portals, trade shows, and networks.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize deals.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with overseas clients.

Export/Import Operations

  • Coordinate for export documentation including PI, Invoice, Packing List, COO, Phytosanitary Certificate, Health Certificate, BL, etc.
  • Liaise with CHA, logistics partners, shipping lines, and warehouses.
  • Track shipment schedules and ensure timely dispatch/delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with export norms, quality requirements, and international standards.

Market Analysis

  • Study global agricultural markets, demand patterns, and price trends.
  • Monitor competitor activities and share insights with management.
  • Identify new markets, seasonal opportunities, and product expansions.

Client Communication

  • Communicate with global buyers through email, WhatsApp, calls, and virtual meetings.
  • Resolve customer queries and provide product updates.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain MIS reports, order status updates, and sales trackers.
  • Coordinate with procurement, quality check, loading teams, and finance.
  • Support documentation, compliance, and certifications required for agri exports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Agriculture, Commerce, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in export/import sales of agri or food products.
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation, INCOTERMS, LC/TT payments, and shipment processes.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and client handling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and work under deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and export CRM tools/portals.

Preferred:

  • Experience in fresh fruits & vegetables, spices, pulses, grains, or other agri commodities.
  • Knowledge of global markets such as Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
  • Familiarity with APEDA procedures, FSSAI, and plant quarantine norms.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
