Sales Executive (Jewellery shop)

We are seeking a customer-focused, well-presented, and sales-driven Jewellery Sales Person to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, knowledge of diamonds and jewellery products, and the ability to deliver an exceptional luxury sales experience to customers.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales

• Greet customers warmly and understand their jewellery needs.
• Demonstrate and explain product features, diamond quality, craftsmanship, and pricing.
• Assist customers in selecting jewellery based on their preferences, occasion, and budget.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales revenue.

Product Knowledge

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, gold purity, and jewellery designs.
• Explain 4Cs of diamonds, certification details (GIA/IGI), and product specifications to customers.
• Stay updated on new arrivals, promotions, and trend collections.

Store Operations

• Ensure proper display and arrangement of jewellery counters.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of display items.
• Handle billing, invoicing, and POS systems accurately.
• Assist in stock counting, tagging, and inventory management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies on sales, customer handling, and product care.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build long-term relationships with clients through follow-ups and personalised service.
• Maintain customer data for future reference, loyalty programs, and marketing communication.
• Handle after-sales service requests politely and professionally.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years experience in jewellery, luxury retail, or customer-facing sales roles.
• Strong communication skills in English and local language.
• Well-groomed, confident, and professional appearance.
• Knowledge of diamonds and jewellery (preferred).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
• Basic computer skills (billing software, POS, CRM).

Education

• Minimum: High School / Diploma
• Preferred: Graduate in any discipline
• Additional certification in jewellery / gemology / sales is a plus.

Work Schedule

• Full-time, retail shift hours (including weekends and festive seasons).
• Weekly off as per store roster.
