Job Profile

The Sales Executive will be responsible in promoting product and services to business in the local HORECA trading. He /She will act as the point of contact between business and its clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while retaining existing customers by maintaining positive business relationship and providing robust after-sales support as well.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet targets in the HORECA segment – including hotels, restaurants, catering companies and institutional buyers. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

2. Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients in the HORECA sector. Must possess skills to handle business activities related to Sales for S Food.

3. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Identify new leads and arrange business meetings with prospective clients. Identify, target and review the inactive accounts with the distribution company. Represent company at trade shows, food expos, and networking events to strengthen brand visibility.

4. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest products and trends relevant to HORECA. Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.

5. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure sales.

6. Market Research: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

7. Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to clients’ post-sale to ensure satisfaction. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.

8. Documentation: Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management. Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to pre-existing contracts. Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc. Must be able to provide Forecast of Sales for respective organizations to Purchase department.

9. Meeting: Interaction with our Distributor’s sales team, warehouse, and logistics to ensure efficient order processing and timely delivery

10. Reports: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, pipeline updates and performance summaries.

Required Qualifications:

§ Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

§ 5+ years of proven experience in local trading – HORECA sales.
