Sales Executive - Logistics

Job Purpose:


The Sales Executive is responsbile for the performance of sales and the achievement of the team’s annual sales target for assigned territory, product and customer base

The Sales Executive is responsible for execution of sales activities in the branch, ensuring fulfillment of the goals and strategies of the sales team in the branch

The Sales Executive role requires a strongly motivated person that can build and maintain strong relationships with customers and can work closely with the Sales Manager, operations and product teams


Key Accountabilities:


Sales

  • Conduct field visits, understand customer’s requirements and assess current branch services versus customers’ expectations and develop potential enhancement measures
  • Conduct sales activities and promote current and new services to existing and potential customers
  • Ensure the execution of commercial goals and strategies in the branch


Reporting


  • Review and submit reports such as weekly plans, sales activity and reports related to issues resolution to the line manager and for management review


Relationship Management

  • Build, maintain and revive strong relations with key accounts and potential customers and ensure seamless support is provided
  • Generate leads, set appointments and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels, including: face to face meetings, telephone calls, emails, etc.


Experience and Qualifications

Preferred Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Management or equivalent

Minimum of 4-10 years of experience in required technical/ functional field
