Overview

GAC Abu Dhabi is seeking candidates for the position of Sales Executive - Logistics at our GT Office in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business and maintain existing client base and develop new clients to ensure continuous growth in sales.
  • Achieve sales targets both in terms of revenue and volume to maintain high sales.
  • Follow sales strategy to grow revenue and select/target prospective customers to ensure growth.
  • Meet and achieve sales visits per day/week/month.
  • Resolve problems through collaboration with the local management team on customer issues so that all problems are resolved promptly.
  • Monitor and upgrade the credit limits required by existing and new clients, so all records are up to date.
  • Maintain electronic information database 'GAC Sales' for prospects and current customers within the territory so the database of customers is always updated.
  • Promote self-development and enhance market and competitor knowledge so that we are aware of market trends and prices.
  • Serve as a role model in upholding the GAC Code of Ethics and GAC Spirit as it is in the best interest of the company and GAC Group.
  • Any other duties requested or delegated by the manager to ensure the service level of the company is maintained.
Job Requirements Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent sales and customer relations skills with team building capacity.
  • Fluency in English / Mandarin (verbal and written communication skills).
  • Extensive knowledge of customer service procedures and principles along with proven experience in meeting sales targets.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain customer relations while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 - 4 years of sales experience required in logistics company and freight forwarding.
  • Previous experience in a sales role preferred.
