Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies and business plans to meet or exceed sales and revenue targets for travel services, holiday packages, corporate travel, and tour offerings.
- Identify, target, and secure corporate accounts, travel agencies, and high-value clients for both corporate and leisure travel services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel partners, hotels, airlines, and agencies to expand the business network.
- Lead negotiations with clients and partners, prepare proposals and competitive travel package quotations, and close deals effectively.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer demands to continuously refine sales approach and product offerings.
- Collaborate with operations, booking, visa, and customer-service teams to ensure smooth service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Track sales performance, pipeline, forecasts, and prepare regular sales and performance reports for senior management.
- Mentor, supervise, and support the sales team, providing guidance to meet individual and team targets.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in travel, tourism, hospitality or corporate travel services — with at least 2 years in a managerial or team-lead role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, closing corporate deals, and managing client accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of travel industry operations — bookings, hotel/airline contracts, visa services or corporate travel logistics is a plus.
- Ability to analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/sales-tracking tools. Familiarity with global distribution systems (GDS) or travel-booking platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
