A Sales Executive identifies and contacts potential clients to sell products or services, conducts market research, builds client relationships, negotiates deals, and works to achieve sales targets. Key duties include prospecting, giving presentations, processing orders, and providing after-sales support, while essential skills are strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Finding new business opportunities and potential clients through various channels like cold calling, networking, and social media.
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business.
  • Product Sales & Demonstrations: Presenting and demonstrating products or services to potential clients to showcase their value and benefits.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiating terms, pricing, and closing sales deals to meet company targets.
  • Market Research: Conducting market research to understand client needs, identify industry trends, and stay informed about competitors.
  • Reporting & Administration: Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales progress using CRM tools.
  • After-Sales Support: Following up with clients after a purchase to address any issues, ensure satisfaction, and potentially upsell.
  • Event Participation: Attending trade exhibitions, conferences, and industry events to network and promote the company's offerings.

Essential Skills

  • Communication: The ability to clearly and persuasively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Negotiation: Skillful negotiation to reach mutually beneficial agreements and close sales.
  • Relationship Building: The capacity to establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Market Awareness: A strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the company's products or services to effectively answer questions and provide recommendations.
  • Organization & Record-Keeping: The ability to manage time, maintain detailed client records, and track sales progress.

Requirements:

  • Minimum MLT degree / Bachelor degree in sales or equal.
  • Proven sales experience minimum 2-4 years
  • Must have own bike or transport with license.
  • Analytical and sales skills
  • Good knowledge of Ms. Office.
  • Be a team member and can work with or without supervision.
  • working experience in CRM software is plus
