We are seeking a results-driven and knowledgeable sales professional to drive our business forward, combining strong selling skills with in-depth technical understanding and a problem solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities – PPE Sales, Client Acquisition & Account Management

  • Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to identify and address their PPE requirements across diverse sectors, including industrial, emergency services, and construction.
  • Achieve sales targets through proactive prospecting, client engagement, and solution-based selling of PPE products ranging from protective clothing and respiratory equipment to advanced safety innovations.
  • Present detailed and accurate product information, technical benefits, and regulatory compliance of PPE solutions to decision-makers and end users.
  • Prepare quotations, follow up on tender opportunities, and manage the commercial negotiation process to secure new business while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with procurement, technical, and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions meeting client specifications and regulatory standards.

Essential Selling Skills – PPE Product Portfolio & Sales Process

  • Demonstrate an ability to understand client challenges and recommend suitable PPE products to meet safety, performance, and compliance needs.
  • Utilise a consultative sales approach to build rapport, answer complex queries, and provide best-in-class advice across the entire sales cycle.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in PPE, sharing actionable insights to drive business growth and innovation.

Technical Knowledge – Regulatory Standards & Application of PPE

  • Confidently explain the technical features, applications, and certification requirements of PPE (e.g. EN, ISO, international regulations).
  • Support clients by interpreting technical documentation, risk assessments, and industry specifications, ensuring all recommended products align with best practice and legislation.
  • Collaborate on product demonstrations, training sessions, and hands-on support, facilitating informed purchasing decisions among customers.

Communication Skills – Client Engagement & Team Collaboration

  • Deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences, adapting messaging to meet both technical and commercial objectives.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, internal teams, and supplier partners, ensuring alignment throughout the sales and fulfilment process.
  • Respond promptly to client questions, providing thorough and knowledgeable solutions to build long-term trust and loyalty.

Problem Solving & Commercial Acumen in PPE Sales

  • Adopt a resourceful and proactive approach to resolving client and project challenges, drawing on technical and commercial knowledge to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement of internal sales and customer service processes by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Evaluate client feedback and market data to inform future strategies and anticipate evolving PPE needs within target sectors.

Qualifications and Experience – Sales in PPE or Technical Sectors

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the PPE, safety equipment, or technical product sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of PPE product categories, compliance requirements, and industry best practice for safety solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, underpinned by a solutions-oriented and collaborative approach.
  • Relevant qualifications in Business, Engineering, or a related field are advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficient with MS Office and CRM systems; experience with commercial tendering or ERP platforms is beneficial.
