Sales Executive (PPE & Consumable)

Job description:

Sales & Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with EPC contractors, Oil & Gas companies, maintenance contractors, and industrial clients.
• Promote a wide range of consumables including welding rods, grinding/cutting discs, PPE, sealants, gaskets, fasteners, tapes, chemicals, and tools.
• Prepare and submit commercial and technical proposals tailored to customer requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to close sales while maintaining profitability.

Client Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement managers, project engineers, and site in-charges.
• Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product demos to understand requirements and offer solutions.
• Provide post-sales support including delivery coordination, invoicing follow-up, and handling customer complaints.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

• Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer feedback to develop effective sales strategies.
• Maintain an updated client database and track pipeline using CRM tools.
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.

Coordination & Documentation:

• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Ensure proper documentation such as quotations, purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices are maintained.
• Follow up on payments and ensure collection as per agreed terms.
