Job Title: Sales Executive — Primary Pharmaceutical Packaging (GCC)

Location: GCC (preferred base in UAE / Saudi Arabia) — frequent regional travel

About Us

We are a leading supplier of primary packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, providing Amber glass bottles, PVC/PVdC blister films, syringes, aluminium foil lidding, and related components. We’re expanding our commercial team across the Gulf Cooperation Council and seeking an experienced sales professional with deep knowledge of pharmaceutical primary packaging.

Role Summary

You will lead sales and business development for primary packaging products into pharmaceutical manufacturers across the GCC. Your focus will be building and managing relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers, driving new account growth, managing tender and procurement processes, and achieving agreed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue and margin targets across the GCC market.

- Identify, qualify and win new business opportunities with pharmaceutical manufacturers and CMOs.

- Manage relationships with key decision-makers (procurement, QA/RA, production, R&D).

- Respond to RFQs and tenders, prepare technical-commercial proposals and negotiate contracts.

- Provide technical product support and advise customers on primary packaging selection and regulatory compliance (GMP, stability, extractables/leachables considerations).

- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, quality, logistics, supply chain) to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

- Maintain CRM records, pipeline reporting and monthly sales forecasts.

- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and customer meetings; travel frequently within the GCC.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- 4–8+ years’ direct sales experience selling primary pharmaceutical packaging (amber glass, PVC/PVdC films, syringes, aluminium foil, etc.) to pharmaceutical manufacturers or contract manufacturers in the GCC.

- Proven track record of closing business and managing complex tender/procurement processes in the pharmaceutical sector.

- Strong technical understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes and regulatory considerations (GMP, pharmacopeias, stability).

- Established network and contacts within GCC pharmaceutical manufacturers and procurement teams.

- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic language skills highly desirable.

- Willingness to travel regularly across GCC countries.

- Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business or equivalent experience.
