Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our transport heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and introducing transport services to meet sales targets. You must be familiar with transportation solutions and possess a strong understanding of customer needs in this sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the heavy transport sector.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct sales presentations and meetings with potential clients.
- Understand client requirements and provide customized transport solutions.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Negotiate pricing and terms of service with clients.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain CRM with up-to-date client information, activities, and pipelines.
- Attend industry events and exhibitions to promote the company’s services.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Transport, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience in the transport/logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of domestic (and/or international) transport services.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Preferred Skills:
- Existing client base in logistics/transport will be a plus.
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary + attractive commission structure
