Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented International Sales Executive to drive software sales within the UK market. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, and consistently achieving or exceeding monthly sales targets. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the UK business landscape and a proven track record in international software sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and research potential leads within the UK market through various channels, including cold calling, online research, and networking events. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Initiate outbound calls and emails to prospective clients to introduce our software solutions, understand their needs, and qualify their interest. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products.
- Conduct compelling online and in-person (as required) demonstrations of our software to potential clients, tailoring presentations to address their specific business challenges and showcasing how our solutions can provide value.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure. This includes preparing proposals, addressing client concerns, and overcoming objections to secure new business.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) as set by management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands within the UK software sector to effectively position our products and identify new opportunities.
- Accurately record and update all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline information in the company's CRM system.
- Work closely with the product development, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and provide market feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in international sales, specifically within the software industry.
- Demonstrable experience selling into the UK market is highly desirable.
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong cold calling and lead generation abilities.
- Proven track record of independently closing sales and achieving targets.
- Proficiency in conducting software demonstrations and presentations.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software.
