Job Scope:
We are seeking a Sales Executive with strong experience in selling used, pre owned construction heavy equipment. Must have a proven track record selling used earthmoving machinery in UAE. Ideally the candidate worked for a used equipment auction house or used equipment dealer.
This role focuses on building long term relationships with sellers, dealers, and buyers, driving used machine listings, direct sales, and auction participation, and executing effective sales strategies to consistently exceed aggressive sales targets.
You will play a key role in expanding both the supply side (fleet owners, traders, dealers, and contractors) and the demand side (local and international buyers) of the used machinery ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and onboard used machinery sellers including dealers, traders, fleet owners, and contractors.
- Drive direct sales and auction consignments of used heavy machinery and plant equipment.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified buyers in the used equipment market.
- Advise sellers on pricing, market demand, machine readiness, and optimal sales channels (auction vs. direct sale).
- Execute strategic sales plans aligned with auction calendars and marketplace growth targets.
- Develop long term partnerships with key accounts and repeat buyers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to both sellers and buyers to ensure transparency, trust, and deal closure.
- Maintain strong after sales relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Coordinate with inspection, marketing, and operations teams to ensure used machines are properly inspected, listed, and promoted.
- Support auction cycles by ensuring seller alignment, machine readiness, and buyer engagement.
- Provide continuous market feedback on used equipment demand, pricing trends, and competitor activity.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, listings, conversions, and commissions.
- Prepare regular performance and market insight reports for management.
Requirements
- 7+ years of proven sales experience in used heavy equipment sales and auction houses.
- Strong network within dealers, traders, contractors, and fleet owners (UAE/GCC preferred).
- Experience with marketplace, auction, or asset based sales models is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of machine condition, inspection reports, pricing, and resale value.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship building skills.
- Results driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, growth focused environment.
