Reports to: Director / General Manager – Sales
Job Purpose
To lead and drive sales of Industrial Air Compressors, Compressed Air Accessories & Piping Projects, ensuring revenue growth, market expansion, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sales team and develop strategies for business growth in Air Compressors and Compressed Air Systems.
- Achieve sales targets for compressors, dryers, filters, piping systems (material & service), AMC & spare parts.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and end users.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and develop pricing and positioning strategies.
- Manage key accounts, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize orders.
- Plan and execute marketing, product promotion activities, and participation in industry exhibitions.
- Coordinate with service, project execution, and logistics teams for timely order completion.
- Drive lead generation, pipeline management, enquiry tracking, and CRM documentation.
- Recruit, train, and develop sales team performance to achieve goals.
- Monitor sales performance and provide weekly/monthly MIS and forecasts to management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred).
- Proven experience in selling Industrial Air Compressors or similar capital equipment.
- Strong technical understanding of compressed air systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage large projects and deliver results under deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, forecasting & data reporting.
