About the Role
We’re hiring a Sales Insights & Enablement Analyst to act as the analytics brain for a large enterprise running its primary & secondary sales on the Salesdiary platform.
This is not a plain reporting role. You’ll use data from Salesdiary + ERP + DMS to:
- Highlight gaps in sales execution (coverage, productivity, distributor health, range selling, schemes, adoption)
- Provide simple, action-oriented insights to sales leaders and managers
- Measure and showcase the business impact of using Salesdiary the right way
You’ll work closely with our Data Ops / MIS Lead, Sales Ops / System Admin, and customer Sales & MIS teams.
What you’ll do
- Own key MIS views and dashboards for:
- Primary & secondary sales
- Target vs achievement (region / ASM / distributor)
- Coverage & productivity (TC/PC/VC, beat adherence)
- Distributor health (billing regularity, range selling, focus SKUs, stock choking)
- Analyse data to identify:
- Coverage gaps and chronic no-bill outlets
- Poor range selling and weak focus SKU performance
- Scheme under-use/misuse and adoption issues
- Convert insights into clear action lists for Sales leadership and ASMs.
- Run before/after and cohort analyses to track the impact of:
- SFA/Salesdiary adoption
- Focus drives, schemes, territory changes, coaching interventions
- Work with Product / Tech / Customer Success to:
- Design role-wise dashboards (field app + leadership PWA)
- Move recurring MIS from manual Excel to automated dashboards and emailers
What we’re looking for
- 3–8 years experience in MIS / business analysis / sales analytics
- Background in FMCG, beverages, building materials, pharma or similar distribution-led industries
- Strong knowledge of secondary sales and distributor / channel operations
Skills
- Strong Excel: pivots, lookups/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF/IFS etc.
- Hands-on with a BI tool (Power BI / Tableau / Qlik or similar) – you have built dashboards yourself.
- Bonus: basic SQL (selects, joins, filters).
Mindset
- You think in terms of coverage, productivity, distribution, focus SKUs and schemes, not just rows and columns.
- You enjoy turning raw data into 3–5 sharp, business-friendly insights and recommended actions.
- You’re comfortable explaining data to Sales / MIS managers and presenting to leadership.
- You are hands-on and happy to build reports and dashboards yourself.
