Sales Intern

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our dynamic sales team. This role offers hands-on experience in sales, business development, client interaction, field visits, and presentation delivery. You will work closely with senior team members to support lead generation, sales meetings, and customer engagement initiatives both online and on the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and approaching potential clients through research, cold calling, and on-ground field work.
  • Participate in field visits for client meetings, surveys, demos, or promotional activities.
  • Prepare and deliver professional PowerPoint presentations for client pitches and internal reviews.
  • Support sales team in handling inquiries and maintaining client relationships.
  • Follow up with leads through email, calls, or in-person interactions.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and basic sales documentation.
  • Maintain and update CRM and sales reporting tools.
  • Assist in organizing marketing events, on-ground promotions, or exhibitions.
  • Conduct market research and gather competitor intelligence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint – able to create clear, professional presentations.
  • Comfortable with field work and client visits as part of day-to-day tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and self-driven approach.

Good to Have

  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, field promotion, or internships.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Zoho, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
  • Presentation or public speaking experience.
