Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable polyethylene products.
- Explain product features such as microns, sizes, film types (LDPE/HDPE), and usage applications.
- Manage sales transactions, issue receipts, and ensure accurate cash handling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked display of polythene items.
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat purchases.
- Prepare customer orders and coordinate with the warehouse for stock availability.
- Keep records of daily sales, customer inquiries, and inventory levels.
- Assist in pricing, labeling, and updating product information.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Meet weekly/monthly sales targets set by management.
- Provide feedback on customer trends and product demand.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales is a plus.
- Prior experience in retail, sales, or packaging materials is an advantage.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math and ability to handle POS or manual receipts.
- Knowledge of polyethylene products (or willingness to learn).
- Ability to stand for long hours and manage busy customer flow.
