The Sales Lead Specialist is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing potential customers to support the sales pipeline. This role focuses on lead generation, data analysis, and close collaboration with the sales team to drive revenue growth and improve conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new sales leads through inbound and outbound channels (calls, emails, social media, campaigns).
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and assess customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate lead data and activity records in the CRM system.
  • Nurture leads through follow-ups, emails, and targeted outreach until they are sales-ready.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to hand off qualified leads effectively.
  • Analyze lead performance metrics and optimize lead generation strategies.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities.
  • Support marketing initiatives by providing feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and data protection regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in lead generation, sales development, or inside sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple leads simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B sales or SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
  • Understanding of sales funnels and buyer journeys.
  • Experience with cold outreach and prospecting tools.
