Job Summary

The Sales Management Officer plays a key role in enhancing Detasad’s sales effectiveness through the management of sales operations, pipeline tracking, and bid-support activities. The role collaborates closely with business domains — including Government, Enterprise, Industrial, EPC & Telcos, and Channel Sales & Partnership — as well as with the Bid Department, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate CRM data, insightful forecasting, and timely proposal delivery.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and process-driven , with a strong ability to coordinate across departments and drive initiatives that support revenue growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain and optimize the CRM system to ensure accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and customer accounts.
  • Generate weekly and monthly sales dashboards, forecasts, and KPI reports for executive management.
  • Operate and manage customer portals, sourcing platforms, and related systems .

2. Pipeline & Forecast Management

  • Monitor the sales pipeline across all business domains, highlighting potential risks and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with presales and bid managers to update opportunity stages, close plans, and next-step actions.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the focal point between Sales, Bid, and other internal teams to ensure coordination and compliance with company guidelines.
  • Facilitate alignment meetings , document action items, and ensure timely follow-up and closure.

4. Process Improvement & Enablement

  • Develop and maintain sales operations handbooks, templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) .
  • Analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks and propose process enhancements that improve efficiency and win rates.

5. Bid & Proposal Support

  • Collaborate with the Bid Department to compile proposal documentation, compliance matrices, and pricing inputs.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Technical teams to streamline RFP/RFI responses and ensure submission quality.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT/AI, or Telecommunications .
  • 4–6 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or sales analytics — preferably within the ICT, telecom, or professional services sectors.
  • Proven proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Excel , PowerPoint , and AI-enabled analytics tools .

Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Strong numerical aptitude and ability to extract insights from complex sales data.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
  • Organization & Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills; builds trust and alignment across departments.
  • Proactivity: Self-motivated and forward-thinking, with a continuous improvement mindset.
