The sales manager is responsible for training sales representatives and setting sales goals. They are also responsible for ensuring the company's sales team has the appropriate tools and resources to achieve their goals. The sales manager also coordinates sales efforts across all other departments, such as marketing, finance, IT, human resources, and administration.

Sales Manager Duties


• Provide sales support by working closely with management, employees, and vendors to cultivate relationships.

• Ensure all stores operate efficiently and adhere to company standards, including opening and closing procedures.

• Customer engagement and retention

• Oversee all sales efforts from opening to closing

• Set clear expectations and communicate them with sales staff

• Ensure effective and timely follow-up of customer inquiries and complaints

• Work closely with marketing staff to develop and implement an effective sales plan

• Execute sales activities effectively by managing time, workflow, and volume

• Provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis


Sales Manager Responsibilities


• Oversee all sales activities

• Establish, implement, and maintain sales goals, budgets, and quotas

• Train and mentor sales teams, including new hires, to ensure consistent, high-quality service

• Deliver presentations to potential clients and develop sales forecasts

• Lead sales strategy meetings and distribute business development and marketing plans

• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities

• Prepare sales results reports and share updated sales strategies with management

• Provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement an effective sales plan

• Research and evaluate potential sales opportunities

• Train employees to achieve sales goals and standards

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients






Requirements and Skills


• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or any other related field., A master's degree is an added advantage.

• Over 10 years of proven experience as a sales manager.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong business development skills.

• Strong training skills.
