Managerial Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

Participates in the development and implementation of the Corporate Strategy general department plans, in line with the corporate objectives.

Directs and manages the Corporate Development department mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.

Manages and controls change in the Corporate Development department providing guidance and support, necessary for continuous improvement.

Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the Corporate Development department
Core Responsibilities

Develop inorganic growth strategy in alignment with the corporate strategy to drive business growth

Execute investment opportunities, identifying targets, developing concept papers, investment thesis, due diligence management and required documentation to complete the deal

Inorganic Growth Support and Reporting - Oversee the reporting of inorganic growth activities, ensuring accurate and timely communication of progress and performance.

Executive Advisory & Management – Provide strategic advisory and management support to the executive team on corporate development initiatives and growth strategies.

Develops an “early warning signals” mechanism to track IoT business/market changes and advise executive management on business plan changes recommendations.

Shareholders/Investor Relation Management - Manage relationships with shareholders and investors, providing updates and insights into corporate development activities and growth strategies.
Strategy Development -Lead the development of corporate strategies, ensuring they are robust, actionable, and aligned with business objectives.

Develop and periodically update corporate strategies to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Sourcing & Profiling – Identify and profile potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities that aligns with the company’s strategic goals.

Synergy Identification & Management – Identify and manage synergies across mergers and acquisitions to maximize value creation and operational efficiencies.

Develop and detail comprehensive growth strategies, aligning with the overall corporate vision and market opportunities.

Lead the development and execution of integration plans for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational efficiency.

Identify and realize value creation opportunities through strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

Manage and optimize the operating model for the iot squared group, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and business dynamics.

Lead the financial business planning process for corporate development activities, ensuring rigorous analysis and alignment with the corporate growth goals.

Develop content and materials for Board of Directors meetings, ensuring comprehensive and strategic presentations.
-
Formulate taskforce to respond quickly to emerging strategic issues or opportunities.
People Management Responsibilities

Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective application of the iotsquared performance management process.

Directs planning and selection of manpower in the Corporate Development department, in line with the business and operational plans.

Ensures high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing on- going feedback and coaching team members within the Corporate Development department

Performs other responsibilities and tasks related to the job as directed by line manager
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or equivalent
-
Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
Years Of Experience

Preferred experience of (8) years, or equivalent in the area of expertise
Preferred Professional Certificates

Strategic Management Professional (SMP) certification
