We’re seeking a Material Sales Manager to drive material sales across Kerala by working directly with professionals in our network. This role is all about building strong professional relationships, identifying upcoming material requirements, pitching Kolo’s products across categories, and closing bulk orders. The manager will also coordinate with the material supply team to ensure smooth order fulfillment from purchase to delivery.
How You’ll Contribute1. Professional Sales & Business Development
- Actively engage with Architects, Contractors, Interior Designers, and Builders across Kerala to generate material orders.
- Pitch Kolo’s material solutions across major categories such as:
- Structural Materials (cement, steel, masonry)
- Finishing Materials (paints, flooring, wall finishes)
- Plumbing & Sanitary (pipes, fittings, sanitaryware, fixtures)
- Electrical & Hardware (wiring, switches, doors, windows, fittings)
- Interior & Designer Materials (plywood, laminates, veneers, decorative surfaces, lighting)
- Develop accounts into long-term repeat-order partners.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently.
2. Relationship Building & Account Management
- Maintain deep relationships with professionals to be their go-to sourcing partner.
- Understand their project pipeline and proactively identify upcoming material requirements.
- Provide timely responses on rates, availability, and alternatives to support project execution.
3. Order Fulfillment & Coordination
- Capture material requirements, confirm orders, and hand over to the material supply team.
- Ensure smooth execution — from procurement to logistics and delivery.
- Resolve supply-side issues quickly to build trust and ensure repeat business.
4. Market Intelligence & Growth
- Track price movements, new product launches, and competitor activity.
- Share feedback with the central team to strengthen product offerings and vendor tie-ups.
- Identify opportunities for cross-category sales and bulk deals.
Who Should Apply
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of field sales experience in wholesale or retail of construction/interior materials (cement, steel, tiles, plywood, sanitaryware, paints, etc.).
- Exposure to selling into professional networks (architects, contractors, interior designers) is a big plus.
Expertise & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of at least one material/product category, with willingness to expand across categories.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to thrive in target-based field sales with regular travel across Kerala.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
