As a growing leader in surgical training technology, we’re seeking a Sales Manager who is passionate about advancing surgical education and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Position Summary:

The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by managing client relationships, developing strategic sales initiatives, and leading the sales pipeline from prospecting to close. This role will require a balance of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying opportunities, building meaningful partnerships, and driving measurable impact across key accounts in the medical device and surgical education industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the complete sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through negotiation and close. Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) for tracking and forecasting.
  • Client Development: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with medical device companies, distributors, and healthcare institutions.
  • Strategic Growth: Identify emerging market trends and new business opportunities within surgical training, simulation, and education sectors.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Engineering and Operations teams to ensure custom model solutions align with client needs and deliver superior value.
  • Proposal & Presentation: Lead client presentations, product demos, and pricing discussions, articulating technical value propositions clearly and persuasively.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyze sales performance metrics to inform strategy, identify areas for improvement, and report outcomes to executive leadership.
  • Team Support: Support and mentor Sales Representatives and coordinate cross-departmental communication to maintain efficient project handoffs and client satisfaction.
  • Brand Representation: Represent SurgiSTUD at conferences, trade shows, and professional events to increase visibility and generate new leads.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in medical devices, surgical training, or healthcare education.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a complex or technical sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of medical device industry dynamics, particularly in orthopedics.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and sales analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work both strategically and tactically in a growing organization.
  • Willingness to travel (10-20%) for client meetings, events, and conferences.
