Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager with strong NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) experience to lead business development and drive revenue growth in the Dubai market. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping sales and can manage key accounts while expanding the client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies for NVOCC services in line with company objectives
- Identify, target, and acquire new business opportunities in Dubai and the UAE region
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and key accounts
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements with clients
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–6 years of proven sales experience in NVOCC, freight forwarding, or shipping industry
- Strong network and relationships within Dubai’s logistics and shipping market
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, documentation, and shipping procedures
- Analytical skills to identify opportunities and optimize revenue
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience managing a sales team or handling key accounts
- Familiarity with digital tools for logistics tracking and customer management
