The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing the sales team, and expanding the company’s market presence within the gold and diamond industry. This role focuses on developing effective sales strategies, maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer experience, and achieving revenue and profitability targets while upholding industry standards and ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Management
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Drive sales of gold, diamond, and jewelry products across retail, wholesale, or B2B channels.
- Monitor daily, monthly, and annual sales performance and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and sales channels.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, train, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance.
- Set individual and team sales targets and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Provide ongoing coaching on product knowledge, customer engagement, and closing techniques.
Customer & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, key accounts, and partners.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and handle escalated customer concerns professionally.
- Develop loyalty programs and strategies to retain existing customers.
Product & Market Knowledge
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of gold, diamonds, gemstones, certifications, and pricing trends.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and consumer preferences.
- Collaborate with merchandising and procurement teams on product selection and pricing strategies.
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Oversee inventory coordination to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize losses.
- Support promotional campaigns, exhibitions, and special sales events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of sales experience, preferably in the gold, diamond, or luxury retail industry.
- Candidates must be Locally Available.
- Valid NOC and Visa Transfer Required
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent understanding of gold and diamond quality, grading, and valuation.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to market changes.
