KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

General

· Conduct weekly visits to assigned outlets to build relationships with key purchasing personnel and actively promote GBI products.

· Effectively promote GBI brands to increase visibility and stay ahead of competitors in the market.

· Increase sales within existing accounts and identify new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

· Develop and execute promotional, sponsorship, and activation activities in collaboration with the Business Manager.

· Manage and grow sales in On-Trade outlets (hotels, bars, restaurants) and selectively in Off-Trade channels.

· Place point-of-sale (POS) materials within accounts to enhance brand awareness.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, distributors, and partners.

· Secure new accounts and deepen penetration in existing accounts to maximize market share.

· Coordinate with distributor and brand teams on product listings, staff training, activations, and visibility efforts.

· Track sales performance and pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, BI dashboards) and maintain accurate reports.

· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic actions.

· Report on competitors’ activities and market developments to management regularly.

· Drive profitability through effective management of pricing, forecasting, budgeting, and P&L results.

· Ensure full compliance with Bahrain market regulations and licensing requirements.

· Foster teamwork within the sales team and share best practices.

· Submit weekly updates on sales results, forecasts, pipeline opportunities, and market insights.

· Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Sales for the benefit of the company.

BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

· Minimum 4 years of experience in beverage, FMCG, hospitality, or distribution sales in the GCC.

· Strong knowledge of On-Trade channel dynamics.

· Proven ability to manage P&L, pricing, forecasting, and commercial planning.

· Experience with distributors is preferred.

Skills

· Proficient in Salesforce, CRM systems, and Business Intelligence dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications.

· Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

· Confident communicator, comfortable interacting with senior hotel and group purchasing teams.

· Organized, accountable, and capable of working independently.

· Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.

· Valid Bahrain driving license or the ability to obtain one.
