We are seeking experienced Sales Managers to join our Dubai and Abu Dhabi office. This role plays a pivotal part in driving business growth by building, leading, and developing a high-performing team of sales consultants operating on a commission-based model. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Sales Director to deliver sustainable growth while maintaining strong client service and regulatory standards.
Role Overview
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, coaching, and managing a team of sales consultants across life & savings, general insurance, and employee benefits. The role requires a strong field presence, hands-on coaching, and disciplined performance management to ensure advisors consistently deliver high-quality advice and achieve agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Team Building
· Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential sales consultants on a commission-only basis
· Build and develop a motivated, professional sales team aligned with Nexus’ advisory and compliance culture
· Support new joiners through their onboarding and early production phases
Sales Strategy & Business Growth
· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve team production and revenue targets
· Support advisors in delivering comprehensive financial planning advice through effective fact-finding and needs analysis
· Contribute to business planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives
Field Coaching & Advisor Development
· Conduct regular field visits and joint client meetings to observe advisors in action
· Provide structured coaching, feedback, and mentoring to improve advisor capability and confidence
· Support advisors during their learning curve with practical, on-the-job guidance
Performance Management
· Monitor individual and team performance against agreed KPIs and targets
· Conduct regular performance reviews and pipeline discussions
· Work closely with the Sales Director on performance management, retention strategies, and annual target setting
Training & Capability Building
· Organise and deliver ongoing training to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and client relationship management
· Promote a culture of continuous learning, professionalism, and ethical selling
Client Relationship Oversight
· Ensure advisors maintain strong, long-term client relationships and deliver appropriate, tailored solutions
· Support escalation of complex client issues where required to ensure satisfactory resolution
Compliance & Governance
· Ensure all sales activities and advice provided by the team comply with UAE regulations and Nexus policies
· Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure advisors receive appropriate compliance training
· Implement and monitor adherence to AML, KYC, and suitability requirements
KPIs
· Achievement of annual team sales and revenue targets
· Recruitment, retention, and development of high-performing advisors
· Improvement in advisor performance through coaching and field support
· Client satisfaction and retention levels
· Consistent adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards
Requirements
· Proven experience in a sales management or team leadership role within the UAE insurance or financial services market
· Strong background in life insurance, savings, general insurance, or employee benefits
· Demonstrated experience recruiting, coaching, and managing commission-based sales teams
· Strong field coaching and performance management capability
· Solid understanding of UAE insurance regulations and compliance requirements
· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
