Job Description: Sales Manager
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the Projects Sales teams, driving revenue growth, achieving targets, and expanding market presence in the UAE building material sector. The role involves strategic planning, team management, key account handling, and close coordination with internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of Sales Executives
- Set monthly and annual sales targets and ensure achievement through proper planning and follow-up
- Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions
- Guide the team on sales strategy, pricing, negotiations, and closing techniques
Projects Sales Management
- Oversee identification and development of new project opportunities in the construction sector
- Coordinate with consultants, MEP contractors, developers, and project managers for approvals and specifications
- Review and approve quotations, technical submittals, and tenders prepared by the team
- Track project progress including approvals, orders, deliveries, and collections
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key project stakeholders to ensure repeat and long-term business
Trading / Channel Sales Management
- Manage and expand relationships with distributors, dealers, and retailers
- Support the team in market visits, lead generation, and customer onboarding
- Approve pricing strategies, credit terms, and delivery schedules
- Ensure proper follow-up on outstanding payments and collections
Business Development & Strategy
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share
- Identify new product opportunities and emerging market trends
- Work closely with procurement, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis for management
Reporting & Coordination
- Provide regular sales performance reports to senior management
- Ensure CRM and sales data are properly maintained
- Coordinate with internal teams for stock planning, delivery schedules, and customer support
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years UAE sales experience in building or construction industry
- Proven experience in managing a sales team
- Strong network with consultants, contractors, and distributors
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills
- UAE Driving License – Mandatory
